We are an optical lens mold supplier in China. Here we will introduce our Lunar Sample Ware Lens to you.
Changes in lens materials: from glass to plastic
Early lenses and crystals were not easy luxuries. With the improvement of glass manufacturing technology in the 12th century, the output of glass lenses began to increase, and then the optical glass lens with high transmittance was invented in the 19th century. Optical lenses played an important role in the 20th century, and now there are more than 200 kinds of optical lenses. Optical lenses can be roughly divided into two categories: coronal glasses with low refractive index and containing soda lime, and flint glasses with high refractive index and containing lead. The optical plastic lenses came out in the early 20th century, and the light transmittance and refractive index of early models are very low.
Since the development of thermosetting plastics in the 1940s, optical plastic lenses began to spread rapidly. Because of this new development, thermoplastic lenses not only have light transmittance comparable to optical glass but also reduce the weight by half. Because the plastic lens is easy to form, not easy to break, and low cost, it also contributes to the development of contact lenses and instant imaging cameras. Recently, plastic lenses have also been used in glasses and mobile phone cameras. Other lens materials include quartz, fluorite, translucent porcelain, infrared rock salt, silicon, and germanium.
Change of camera lens: from single point focus to zoom
A lens composed of a single optical element is called a "single lens"; A lens composed of multiple optical elements is called a "composite lens". Since the invention of the first silver halide camera using Daguerre silver plate photography in 1839, the technology of composite lenses has undergone earth-shaking changes, which further promoted the development of new lenses. Some of the lens types include the Davidson lens with two connected meniscus lenses symmetrically placed, the Pittsville lens with reduced shooting time, and a three-piece lens with three separable lenses developed based on the Pittsville lens, and the Zeiss lens head and sooner lens.
Zoom lenses came out in the 20th century. Zoom lenses can change the focal length of a single lens, and its emergence marks a breakthrough in the history of the high-performance lens. By using standard focal length, wide-angle focal length, and telephoto focal length, as well as high magnification, this lens can meet the requirements of various visual fields. Later, with the further improvement of magnification, the further reduction of weight, and the further reduction of size, a variety of different types of derivative lenses came out one after another. The field of the lens has also entered a period of systematization.
New lens technology
Almost all electronic devices use lenses, such as the collimating lens used to read the red LED laser beam in the CD-ROM drive, the scanning lens in the laser printer, and the lens in the fiber optic mirror used by the barcode reader and endoscope. Another example is the projection lens in the advanced stepper (step repeated projection exposure system) which can process semiconductors in micron size. This is a precision lens made of multi-layer high-quality glassy silicon. This is the so-called "lens leader".
Of course, our company also provides a Lunar sample ware lens. Our products can meet the requirements of high precision and high customization level. If necessary, please contact us.
