We are an object telecentric lens factory in China. Our Telecentric lens is mainly divided into object telecentric lens, image telecentric lens, and bilateral telecentric lens.welcome to contact us.
Basic classification of telecentric lens
Telecentric lens is mainly divided into object telecentric lens, image telecentric lens and bilateral telecentric lens.
Object lens
Object telecentric lens is to place the aperture diaphragm on the image focal plane of the optical system. When the aperture diaphragm is placed on the image focal plane, even if the object distance changes, the image distance also changes, but the image height does not change, that is, the measured object size will not change. The object telecentric lens is used in industrial precision measurement, with minimal distortion, and high performance can achieve no distortion.
Image square lens
For the telecentric lens of the image side, by placing an aperture diaphragm on the focal plane of the object side, the main light of the image side is parallel to the optical axis. Therefore, although the installation position of the CCD chip is changed, the projection imaging size on the CCD chip remains unchanged.
Bilateral lens
Bilateral telecentric lens has the advantages of the above two telecentric lenses. In industrial image processing, only object telecentric lens is generally used. Occasionally, two side telecentric lenses are used (of course, the price is higher). However, in the field of industrial image processing / machine vision, the telecentric lens generally does not work, so it is basically not used in this industry.
Application advantages of telecentric lens
Telecentric lens is mainly used in precision measurement. In the precision optical measurement system, there will be some restrictive factors due to the ordinary optical lens, such as the error caused by image deformation, angle of view selection, boundary uncertainty caused by improper light source interference, and so on, which will affect the accuracy of measurement. Telecentric lens can effectively reduce or even eliminate the above problems, so telecentric lens has become the decisive component of precision optical measurement system, and its application field is also more and more extensive.
When choosing telecentric lens, you should first understand the corresponding use conditions of relevant indicators of telecentric lens:
1)Object size ----- shooting range.
2)Image square size ----- the size of the target surface of the CCD used.
3)Working distance ----- the distance between the front surface of the object lens and the subject.
4)Resolution --------- the size of CCD pixels used.
5)Depth of field --------- the range within which the lens can form a clear image. The greater the image / object magnification, the smaller the depth of field.
6)Interface ----------- camera interface, mostly C, t and other interfaces.
According to the use (object size and required resolution), select the object lens and CCD or CMOS camera with appropriate object size, and get the image size at the same time, then calculate the magnification, and then select the appropriate image lens according to the product list. In the selection process, we should also pay attention to the influence of depth of field index, because the larger the image / object magnification is, the smaller the depth of field is. In order to obtain a suitable depth of field, we may need to re select the lens.
